I can't pass it in Memphis with just one. so I had a custom "one" put together just to pass emmissions. I have two piggy back. it sux, and I have to buy replacement gaskets once a year, but it works.

Do you think the main cat could have been the problem itself? Did you fail be a lot?

as long as everything else is there and you get a tester that doesn't know you are supposed to have 3 cats then you should be okay.

The pre cats really only work while the engine is warming anyway. once warm the main cat does all the work.

Does anyone make a pipe to replace the first two cats, i would like to keep the two stock cats for emissions, i know its just for cold start but having all three cats wouldnt hurt. Any power gains from removing the front two cats, this na thing is new to me, its pretty dam slow stock. I use to have a TII and fd. I'm in the very slow process of converting my gxl to a single turbo cosmo 13b probably with a haltech E11. I just finished with the drivetrain swap and rear toe eliminator bushing.
