MagnaFlow

Has anyone here used the this Magnaflow Hi FLow cat?

I've read the forums about Bonez HiFlow, but its way too expensive. This magnaflow sells for $130-$150.

yea. i just ordered one off ebay a couple of hours ago. I think it be good since it gets rid of those precats. It will prolly sound nice with the borla exhaust I have.

Gotta Pass Emissions and be quiet in NY

I think it would sound quite nice with Borlas, but the only way to be sure is to put it on and fire it up.

I am throughly impressed with magnaflow...I gotta admit I was a little bit skeptical @ first about buying a pair of magna flow muffs...but after hearing them on my 7...they are definetlely my choice for best bang for your buck...really deep smooth sounding tone...+1

I use a 3" in and out on my Turbo and a 2.5" in and out on the non turbo motor.

I don't use the downpipe combo as in the picture coma niddy posted

if you want to get rid of the precats you can have an exhaust shop bend you a new pipe from the exhaust manifold, and weld it to your cat. I passed emissions beautifully with a magnaflow hi-flo cat, and all new exhaust piping from the mainifold to cat then cat back. It sounds awesome too.

I run one, my setup consists of RB 3 inch downpipe to a 3 inch magnaflow cat, to a 3inch SSutochrome single exhaust. For some reason the exhaust volume is drastically higher with the cat on, vs replacing the cat with a borla muffler as a presilencer.

Other than that, its is a great cat, I have passed emissions twice, with this cat

Yeah Magnaflow is good stuff. They are very high quality. All the welds are top notch. I have the Bonez system too and I would say it's just as good.

SO I got the MagnaFlow HiFlow Cat installed and it's great.
It's much lighter than the stock Cat setupand sounds great with the Borla Cat Back. My exhuast note went from shy and quiet to DEEP and Powerful.

I have pics here ----> http://www.quarterwater.com/gallery2/v/cars/album/
