LSD gear oil

I put Royal Purple Max-Gear gear lube in my LSD before I noticed that the manual specifies LSD specific gear lube, which apparently the Royal Purple is not. At $8 a quart, I really don't want to waste a whole quart of this stuff, so I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good additive for it? I bought 4 quarts total, and wasn't able to top off the LSD anyway after filling the transmission because the handpump I was using wouldn't reach the bottom of the bottle, so I was going to have to buy another quart anyway. So out of curiousity, what's the ratio between the additive and the gear oil? Wondering if I can get away with not draining the gear oil again...

You can't do that. LSD specific Gear oil has friction modifiers that allow the plates to slip/grip, but not burn up. The best thing to do would be to buy some Redline LSD fluid. Thats what I run and it made the chatter go away around corners... Save the gear oil for the tranny if its the right viscosity.

Aaah more money... I guess I'll have to go pick it up on the way to work tomorrow. Hopefully it's not any more than this stuff.
