when referring to clutch-type differentials, there are 3 predominant forms, 1 way, 1.5 way and 2 way.

1 way means the lock-up, which equalizes wheel spin rates, only occurs on acceleration.
1.5 way means that the lockup fully occurs on acceleration and partially occurs on braking/deceleration.
2 way means that the lockup fully occurs on both acceleration and braking/deceleration.

For some people, they might not feel comfortable having full lockup under deceleration, thus they go with either a 1 way or a 1.5 way.

for more steering angle you'll need tie-rods, but on FC's i think theres something else that needs to be done. for suspension, just some coil-overs will do with camber plates, oh and bushings help alot too.... if you go all out on suspension you'll never get the hang of drifting cause there are so many variables for each component that you'll find yourself adjusting everything to see what works.

an LSD for drifing would be either a 1.5 or 2-way. both are about the same price. but if you dont know how they work then just practice with a TII diff and once you feel comfortable with that diff, drift someones car that has either a 1.5 or 2-way to see how it reacts.

BTW, very seldom does drifting require full-throttle(unless you're underpowered, and on long sweepers)
what you need is heart, without that you'll always be scared to learn and not have the drive.

one more thing... practice, practice, practice.... and practice with the vehicle you have now, the way it sits, that way you'll be able to learn how your car reacts, and what mods you'll want to do to make it more to your liking.... and practice some more.

NEVER, EVER try to drift in public, wether its an empty parking lot(unless you get permission form the actual owner and can prove it to police) an old road that noone every uses, or neighborhood intersections...... you will only be making things worse. go to drift events, nothing is better than learning to drift in a controlled environment where you can get lots of seat time and not get in trouble

alright, thanx....im guna practice before i even turbo...i'd like it to be a litle bit under powerd, but i hear u gotta have around 300 to be compettitive...otherwise, it'll be 280. im guna attend dday, and other events, and my aunt's bf owns a company so i'll try to get there.

it doesn't matter what power level, stock TII is fine, drifting is not about power, it's about driver skills. If you don't have that, then.....well, what can I say? stock fc clutch-types i'm not sure, i'd like to say 1 way, but that's just my opinion.

you dont need a lot of power to be competitive....... if you can even get 250hp out of your car thats plenty. i;ve seen several drift competitions where a car that had less hp(around 200) win the event again cars that had 400
