If the LSD is worn only one wheel will turn when you jack it up and turn it by hand.

If it doesn't have an LSD; the opposite wheel will turn the opposite direction.

Talking

To check if you HAVE lsd:

Jack up the car
Turn one one wheel *it should spin by itself
Go to the other side, and turn the other wheel
Both wheel should now turn in synch

Peace,
AJ ^_^
PS: Here's another good way of checking. Go to favorite corner in neighborhood. Drift around corner. If it's not too difficult, you have lsd! ^_-

Will this method work for both clutch type (86-88) and viscosite type (89-91) LSD?

Thumbs up

Remember to leave car in neutral no matter what type you have. It should work both ways.

Peace,
AJ ^_^
