from what i heard, aas is just a gimmick. That being said, a good set of coilovers should be the best option or if you just want springs then racing beat.

i believe that any of the springs for you chassis (vert or coupe) should still work with the aas. but it does seem that on nearly every car with aas the system no longer functions properly. alo the cost to replace the aas is quite expensive.

I had Suspension Technique springs and no issues. I actually still have them and may be putting them up for sale. But they worked great and looked great as well.

!!! Hold up! If you have working aas I would not lower it, they no longer make a replacement aas strut. Lowering will put more stress on it an lead to premature blown strut. There was another thread discussing this a while back.

Not only that but my tien lowing springs sagged uneven like crazy after only 2 years, "S" Tech stands for style tech, doesn't install much performance confidence with that name, course I found that out after I installed them. :-/

I have a working AAS suspension on my car. You can tell when it is on or off but the difference isn't terribly noticeable. Even in it's firmest mode it is softer than any aftermarket suspension I've ever ridden in. The best riding 2nd gen I've ever been in used Eibach springs and Tokico Illumina struts. It could be as soft as a Cadillac or as firm as you'd ever need. It was a nice setup.

Thumbs up

I have Tein s tech lowering springs on my vert and they are nice, stiff and make it look way cleaner. Of course coilovers would be ideal but the Tein lowering springs are good for the money. Only had them on since march so we will see how they hold up over time. Dont know how they would be on aas though.....Plus Im pretty sure they have a lifetime warranty through Tein.
