lowering springs

Looking for decent springs but at a fair price.
And how many inches is good enough?

I want a clean sexy look for my 87.

At anything over 1" drop in the rear the camber starts to go way negative.
You can get away with 1.5" in the front.
If you want to go lower, then you will also be buying custom camber stuff.

On my prior NA, I cut 1" off the top of the stock springs. The slightly lower ride along with the slightly stiffer rate came out just right. The tires were 225/50-15 Kuhmo 711's. Cheap, but a nice combination of wear. grip, & clearance. The trick was running 27PSI in the rears & 29 in the fronts.

Honestly, I would just do a search for springs; springs drop; springs pic*; suspension; and so on. Pretty much EVERYTHING has been covered at one point or another.

Here's a start...

Good luck.
