Rate my proposed suspension set-up

Alright, the time had finally come to upgrade my suspension. I just got a co-op so some of the money I make will be put towards my suspension in the next few months. Here's what I was thinking of getting:

RSR Race springs

Koni Yellows

Set of vert sway bars and solid endlinks

Camber plates up front and camber adjusters in the rear

I know I really dont need upgraded bars, so I figured that the slightly larger vert bars would do the trick.

Tanabes are a better spring for the buck. Koni yellows are those adjustable? depending on the drop(I dropped mine 1.5") you wont need any camber adjustment in the front. As for the rear just get an adjustable one that replaces the sublink rod. Bar who needs them unless your racing, my stock GXL ones work very good with my setup.

What makes you say that the Tanabes are better than the RSRs? They are pretty much the same price on Auto RnD. Just curious. And yes, the Konis are adjustable, rebound only but thats more important that compression.

Yes Konis are adjustable.

Not bad at all, I like the idea of RSR's because they're stiffer, only downside is the amount of drop, but since you have the camber stuff than you should have no problem.

But that's going to be a pretty good setup.

I was originially leaning towards a set of custom rate GC coilovers with the konis, but after seeing pics of the drop on 17s with the RSRs and seeing that the rates in the front are above 300lbs, I couldnt justify spending the extra money on the GCs

Can someone link me to a site that sells the camber plates for the front please?

Well I bought the GC's. The reason I spent the extra money is having the ability to change my spring rates. ANother thing about the coilovers, is getting them corner weighed, if you don't well you wasted your money.

At some time I was looking at the RSR's, but custom spring rates and the benefits of corner weighing is what made me buy the GC's.

PS- the koni yellows can be revalved so that you can adjust both compression and rebound individually.

Edit- There is someone selling new Tein front camber plates on ebay for around 170 bucks.

run a search on RSR and Tanabe's then you'll see what people think. Both springs are highly talked about here in the forum. Why didnt you run a vote on this subject anyways.

What exactly happens when you have a car corner weighted?
