lowering gxl?

before i get new rims and tires..i want to lower my 87 gxl..im not sure what i need?
i know i need springs..and new maybe get new shocks?

get a setup like mine. Its a very nice setup, while your under there replace the bushings too. heres some pics of my cars setup.

including labor cost I pay about 900 dollars invested there, 600 of it was labor(mostly bushings, I heard they were a pain).

nah im not spendin that much..looks good though..i just want to lower it..springs and shocks and struts..alright what would be cheapest..just the shocks,struts,and springs?
would the rb suspension package do the job for me?

thats what im talkin about..i've been asking this question for 2 weeks now..and i've even got kicked off a forum for asking this question..because i never find out wwhat i need..i just dont want springs..

thanx, But if your gonna do the work yourself. Tanabe springs 187 shipped, KYB AGX off ebay from jdmwerks for 340 shipped, bushing if you want them 105 shipped or you can get non-adjustable shocks for half the price FYI

Don't forget a camber adjuster. Lowering a 7 induces negative camber. And why don't you want springs? If you're upgrading shocks and struts, springs are probably a good idea, too.

Check out the suspension section of Mazdatrix; they have a lot of info.

I'm gonna get Tokico HPs (non-adjustable) and Eibach Prokit springs (progressive). I also intend to change out suspension and DTSS bushings. And, of course, the camber adjuster.

I'm looking at $970 from Mazdatrix.

oh yea the rear camber rod from mazdatrix 160 dollars. I almost forgot that was installed too. My bad
