Low compression

So I took my Fc drifting last weekend and after one of my runs where I was full boost banging rev limiter on the last turn my engine started running kinda shity it was idling poorly and would stall if I turn my fans on. Still had good power and got in to boost fine. Checked compression when I got back and compression on the front rotor is 90 40 40. To me it sounds like an apex seal spring broke or somthing?

a ( or more ) broken corner seal/s can also lose two pulses and is a fairly common fail mode for FC engines that underwent " light " detonation

and if it is only that, it best to pull down and repair ASAP , as the housing and rotor may be fine ( for now )

running the engine will encourage it to pinch on the apex seal and potentially ruin housing and rotor

upgrade to FD corner seal springs.. seems to help the longevity.. else look at the other brands of "keyless" corner seal types

It's Adkins one peice seals and FD springs. And there was no detonation going on the car was running great! I did just switch from the hard cut to the soft cut rev limiter on my Haltech. Could that maybe be it?

What? That makes no sense? It's soft ignition cut by the way.
