Love my new TII, but needs help.

i must first say i've been wanting an FC turbo II for as long as i've been into cars, which was approx birth. so i finally found one and the time was right for me to jump on it so i did, 88 turbo II i couldn't have been happier with her.

the only problem is that she wants to boost more than 10psi and of course...fuel cut. i dunno exactly why, but from searching and reading why, it appears from others' experiences, it may be the TPS or the gutted cat the guy put on it. other than that, the car is all stock w/ a ported motor. not sure on the specifics of the porting job, so that is all i know :\

she pulls great and runs fine but when i really wanna give her some gas, she hits fuel cut and starts bouncing and doing all that nonsense...so any help will be greatly appreciated! thank you and screw ever driving anything else

Yea the gutted cat is most likely the culprit. Out of the factory the stock integrated wastegate port is very small, and once the exhaust is free'd up then you get overboosting. The stock turbo should never pass 12psi with the TMIC, and if you buy a FCD you should seriously be considering fuel mods to prevent detonation.
The best idea here for now, is to pull the turbo off and port the wastegate if you don't want to make more power just yet. With the larger wastegate you'll be able to attain stock pressures.

update: i took her by the dealer today (dumb on my part of course b/c dealers don't give a **** and "won't" do some work) but they said that i had some "mangled" wires on my tps sensor or something on the throttle body, and that was about it. and b/c of that, they wouldn't do any work. so do you think that would have anything to do w/ the boost creep or should i still just port the wastegate? and how much do you think i could buy a stock cat for just right now? i'd rather do that than pull the turbo and "mill" it just yet :\ anyways, thanks again.
