meh. cork sport is loud, but not overtly loud. well, yes it is. anyways, corksport is a nice exhaust, but kinda pricey. for less cash, get the rp50 exhaust over at rx7.com.

its nice, and works just as well as the rb.

RP exhaust is more then the Corksport. You can almost buy the Corksport complete turboback for the price of the *ugly* RX7.com unit.

Anyways.

The new Racing Beat exhaust is complete S/S and has been redone in the past year I beleive. It is very quiet and only loud when you're at WOT. It's dual and pretty classy.

Corksport is a racier design to their cat-back. It is probably the loudest exhaust you can buy off the shelf for your car. But since the cat-back is only a section of the exhaust, you can quiet it down with inline mufflers are the such, but keep in mind it's cat-back lacks any rear muffler. It is also a single exhaust as opposed to the dual.

I hope that helps.

I just purchased the Corksport 80mm catback a day or 2 ago. I plan on using it with the Racing Beat streetable header and a presilencer or cat of some sort. I will let you know what I think about the sound levels when I get it. I think the catback is supposed to ship out on June 12 (they were out of stock when I ordered). I am not one to bitch about loud exhaust notes though, as this will be a race/weekend car, and the cops around here don't give 2 squirts of **** about how loud the civics and harleys are, so I should be fine.

Search under my name. I have a video on Streetfire that I posted with a RB header/presilecer/corksport cat-back.

It's pretty loud at WOT. I had another video that I lost of me on the highway making a ****-ton of noise.

I own a older Corksport unit and i am running it the silencer due to the area i live. The corksport unit is loud without it's silencer but i believe that cp redid their exhaust last year (thicker) so maybe the new model will make less noise. Also another thing to concider is that craftmanship and material. I notice that RB exhaust age better compairing to the cp exhausts but the new cp model look like it would hold up better. Personal opinion go with the RB unit, is quiet, well made, fits good, good tech support and is just silly to run a single exhaust on the 7. (yes my car looks silly)

thx everyone, i was amazed at all the responds considering was my first day back on forums and first week back to owning a rx7. and the thing is i already have the corksport cause it was thrown in with sale, but not equipped on car, right now i got stock exaust on. i guess i can switch on the cp at work and drive a day with it and see how it goes, my old t2 had the racing beat and the duals did look nice and didnt get into much trouble with the piggies, but still once i hit 5k+rpm u could start to hear it pretty loud. i just wanna do it all right this time and make this 7 with top of the line no bs.
