Exclamation LOUD CLICKING NOISE IN TRANSMISSION

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about a problem that I have with my FC. Just recently when I pressed the gas at around 2500 rpm's, the transmission would start to make a loud clicking noise and when I let off the gas it made a winding kind of noise. This only happens when the clutch is engaged or in gear, so I was thinking that my clutch was going out or got messed up in someway. If anyone knows about this problem and could tell me how to fix, that would really help.

Thanks

A.j

sounds like your throwout bearing is going out

If it only does it when the clutch is out then it is most likely the throwout bearing. You will have to pull the trans. out.

Is it quiet in 4th?
If so, it's the input gear - the one that drives the countershaft.
4th is straight through and dose not load the countershaft.
