All these things stopped working simultaneously on my car. checked all the fuses, they're fine. anyone know of any wiring nexus that would effect all of these things. I wouldn't care so much if my sunroof weren't stuck open.

You take can the little button looking piece on the headliner off and close the sunroof manually with a rachet for now.

Good one...I had forgot about that. Just pop off the little round fastener type thing and crank it closed.

Do you have the factory service manual? If so, look in the wiring diagrams for each of the items that went out and see if something is common between all of them. If so, you have more than likely found the source of your problem.

If you dont have the FSM, you can download it for free from the FAQ section of the 2nd gen forum.

Good luck.

Except for the headlight, the same thing happens on my car. It's the ignition switch. The contacts for those devices is dirty, and if I wiggle the key back and forth while the car is running (not enough to shut off the engine, of course) they'll come back on every time.

Gald to help. Just be careful that you don't turn the key too far and shut off the engine right after start up, or you may have the dreaded flooding problem on the restart. It's actually pretty easy to change the back part of the ignition switch (not the lock cylinder, just the electrical contacts.) You can get a used one in the Parts For Sale section (as I did) for under $25. Check it with a meter before you install it to be sure you won't have the same problem.
