Get your VIN number and take it to the dealership. They'll get you another key. Or call a locksmith.

Well with my RX7 the dealership couldn't do ANYTHING so I called a locksmith who couldn't do anything so I had to take the entire doorhandles part out and had the locksmith do his job from there.God that was one long day.

Most likely the dealership is going to tell you that they dont have the Key Code to cut the key, if they don't then problem solved.

Call a locksmith, If you have the same keys for your doors as your ignition he should be able to make a copy.

Got a pair from the dealer within a day when I snapped mine. So give it a shot.

I used to lose my keys all the time, so I keep my keys chained to my wallet now and I've never lost either in several years. I keep them both in my pocket all day long too, which may be another reason.

Even if the dealership does have your VIN in the system and can make a key, it doesn't mean that it'll work. I had mismatched locks with the VIN. Your just better having a locksmith keying a new key to the ignition.

EASY. I bought a shell once with out any keys. Take out the rear hatch lock assembly. It's only a few nuts, takes 10 minutes. I walked into a lock smith with the lock and it cost 12 bucks. Works for all doors and ignition.

Actually bad thing, the key to my door WAS the key to my ignition.

and it wasn't a big problem, BUT I'm looking to sell my car, and WILL need keys before I sell it, and I need to sell it ASAP.

any possible way?

I lost my key once. Went to the dealership and told me I needed the number on the key. So, I thought that maybe I had remembered it... but I didn't. I got a key that didn't work, then went to a locksmith that made me bring him the passenger side door lock and got one for $25.00... a few weeks later my g/f found my key.

Good luck~

you could always Change the steering column, which is just as easy if not easier than trying to Remove the Ignition and replace it..the Steering Column that you "get" (used) should have the ignition and Key for the Ignition...KENN,YOU need that TOO??>I got a Column with Key!..Msn me!
