Loss of midrange power.
May or may not be a unique problem. Search turned up nothing.
Car: '90 N/A, S5 engine (6000 km rebuilt)
Problem: Was driving it last week some time, noticed that the car had a LOT more power in the mid range (3500-6500) through 1st, 2nd and most of 3rd. Very strong pull, hard to keep the wheels from spinning. Had been driving it hard for a few hours before (Auto-X) and it hadn't done it then.
Diagnosis: VDI? 6PI?
