Loosing water need help

ok well about a week or two ago my warning buzzer came on and i looked at the idoit lights and it said add coolant, so when i got home i filled it up. well 1-2days later it came on again and the water level had drop i thort ok maybe i didnt put enough in so i topped it up again. Then couple days later it was on again so i looked for leaks and couldn't find any. i left the car running and squeezed the top radiator hose to try and force water out of the leaky place but still no leaks. im lost as where my water is going any ideas

Do you get white smoke while driving?
maybe a coolant seal

i had that happen to me last winter. i was always doubting that i didn't have a blown coolant seal. but as time past researching my problem all fingers pointed to the seals. ill assume your car starts fine and runs fine, cause thats what happened to me, but thats just my situation. i didnt have no smoke at any time/rpm/gear/temp/morning/night. anytime.

what you can do as an experiment is try to fasten a funnel to your top coolant fill neck and make sure that it is sturdy. put fluid in it and start the car, observe the fluid while your car warms up. if you start to see a CONSTANT amount of air bubbles comming out then it is your coolant seals. you can go on youtube and search coolant seals and there should be some videos of people showing there experiments.

good luck.

If the engine has is just old the coolant lan walls can give away and leak slowly like that. It might not seem alarming right now but one day it's going to leave you sitting on the side of the road if that is the problem.

On the other hand if it's just a bad coolant seal you can replace that and keep riding!

the engine has about 12000km on it so would you really think it would be a coolant seal, that was my guess to but its all new. NO it doesnt blow any smoke what so ever and it starts and runs fine

Just because the motor is new don't mean anything. I f you don't stack the motor right and pinch a seal? Then your in trouble. Did you do the work? If not, take it back to the people who built it. Pineapple Racing sells an engine block coolant pressure checking assembly. Buy it and see whats up.

After a spirited drive do you smell coolant? After your next drive pop the hood and take a real good look for coolant in your engine bay. Especially check the coolant hoses on your BAC and TB. they can crack and leak. Also don't forget about your heater core and radiator.

Also it wouldn't be totally out of the question for your coolant seals to fail in 12000 KM. Unlikely but still possible. If there is no coolant leak noticeable after checking all around your engine/bay then the next most likely cause is a failed coolant jacket seal.

get some of that glow in the dark crap to put in your radiator and go drive around. Hopefully you will find some predator blood in your engine bay!
