no torque on rebuilt
no torque on rebuilt
well. its been 2341 miles into the rebuild and i am feeling no torque untill after 4k. i use to not have the sleeves before but now i have reinstalled them. it made a little bit a difference but not a tremendous amount. i know for sure they are installed correctly and are functioning correctly. as i can see the actuators move when i look at them while activating the throttle body by hand. i have checked for grounds that are on the wire harness to make sure i put them all back and i did. should i just ground the engine from different points? its a s4 n/a engine by the way. its late and im tiered. if anything is a little confusing, i will clear it up. just ask. thank you
compression test-
any manifold intake leaks?
what ECU?
is the OEM unit limping?
code check, and double check timing and map sensor output
- be sure the "set coupler " is still not connected
( may have been left connected after tune )
at a glance i suspect timing is locked, or incorrect
PS
also be sure the leading coil and spark is working OK
a dead unit will effectively drop the timing back to that of the trailing

everything is labled n326. from the maf to the bac to the ecu and pressure sensor.
at any rpm below 4k it likes to jerk.
power is so little that i have to downshift to go up hill on the high way.
what do you mean by set coupler?
as for tomorrow ill swap out the leading coil from my parts car. thank you
