Loosing power after 4000 rpm, HELP!!!
losing power after 4000 rpm. I got my 89 NA 2 month ago and noticed that my air pump is missing, so probably my 5th and 6th ports arent working so may be thats why im loosing power. If so do i wire the 5 th and 6th, or do i have to take port slaves out. If so can anyone tell me how to do it?

Even assuming the 5 and 6 ports are not opening you should not have a big drop in power above 4K. My engine does not begin to hit the big power band until 5K.
Check your secondary injectors. It sounds like they are not working.
As far as keeping your 5 and 6 ports open, just open them by hand (if they are not stuck shut) and wire them in that position. Expect a power loss at low engine speeds if you do this.
