Loose wires....where do they go?

Ok i have a question about some loose wires i found under my hood. I know that my O2 sensor is cut and have since then bought a new one with the problem of not kowning where to plug it in... Also the BAC valve has no wires coming into it, as far as i know there should. I have a pic of 3 wires coming off the main wiring harness that look a little suspicious. Also there was this sensor on the Air Control Unit that i have no idea what its called and where to find another one. The wire was cut and i need a new one. (pic included to see what i mean). Help would be uber sweet and some pics of your engine bay concerning these items would also be a huge bonus.

Frank.

The O2 sensor wire is labeled correctly.
You can tell it's the O2 sensor wire cause it has a metal braid and thick wire insulation on it.
It's also a single conductor in the center.

Yes, the two wires you have labeled for the BAC valve looks right too.

That hole looks like it's coming off the ACV?
If so, it's for emissions.
Dunno why anyone would just remove the sensor / solenoid...?
The wire(s) for that component is off a different branch of the engine harness.

Bump

Sorry to bother you guys but right now this unknown sensor is stopping the revival of the 7.. It has something to do with emissions hence it had alot of carb build up on the tip of the sensor. I looked in my haynes manual and cant find what its called. If i at least know the name i can see if i can buy one, but right now im stuck atm.
thanks again.

Frank.

The problem is that I don't think you can just buy that one part.
I think you need to buy the entire ACV.
That thing ain't cheap unless you can get one used.

Port Air Solenoid and the poppet valve and spring are probably missing. Actually not much harm will happen if you just screw it back in. It'll port a bit more air to the exaust ports over a normal car.

If the BAC plugs have touched together for a period of time, most likely the transistor in the ECU that drives the bac is kaput. Reinstall the wires to the bac and turn the key to ON. The bac should vibrate. No vibration? Kaput transistor most likely.

i would screw it back in if the connecter was still attached to the wire. i found it half off with only a few small strings attached. Ill test the BAC aswell thanks.
