Loose ground strap
The ground strap is missing a crimp connection or eyelet. It connects to the exhaust for the O2 sensor ground.
There is plenty of information posted here about this strap. If you look below at the related topics section, there are a few listed there.
What I haven't found information on yet is an alternative ground for the sensor. Like soldiering a ground wire on the sensor.
Edit: I just read the strap is for radio interference suppression. 😂 Well then.....
I read some more and it seems people are split with keeping it or not. One even mentioned solving the 3800rpm hesitation issue by keeping it.
I will attach mine when I finish with the exhaust work. Between the radio noise, I have heard this on car radios... it is incredibly annoying..... and it being a safety ground in the event that the main engine ground fails, it's worth the effort.
It seems that the style of O2 sensor our cars normally use doesn't require grounding.
