If any of you can help to guide me in the right direction I would be so appreciative!
My husband bought a 1986 RX-7 last year and is doing some repair work to it. I want to either get new seats for him or have these recovered. (I'd rather do new ones.) Finding seats for this car appears to be somewhat of a challenge. I'm worried that the ones offered on line won't fit and because this is a surprise I don't want to ask him. Does anyone have any ideas or pointers to help me out?

 

It depends on what kind of seats you are looking for.If you are looking for orginal then your best bet would be a Mazda Dealer. If you are looking for aftermarket seats, I can recommend www.racing-seats-usa.com . You will have to buy the brackets that fit your car seperatly but they have them for your RX7. I know because I bought some seats there. Good luck and hope this helps

Yeah, you can usually find good condition stock seats in the f/s section. I don't even want to think of what they cost at a dealership.
