Looking for S5Turbo II Racing Beat full exhaust HP and Tourque figures
Just curious if anyone with this setup knows what HP and Torque figures this combo takes you to.
Racing beat claims 59 hp on their product description but does this really translate on the Dyno?

Opening up the exhaust raises the boost until you port the wastegate, aka boost creep.
Raising the boost is what gets you more power.
I am running the RB exhaust at stock S4 boost (~5.5 psi) with a cat, and it is definitely not 59hp over stock.

I just installed a downpipe (not RB) and power inrease is nice with no boost creep or spikes. That being said I did retain the stock cat, y pipe and mufflers. I don't think think the RB is worth the money. It is a nice piece but it's an expensive one.
I've already bought the full exhaust and have the RTek installed, was just hoping someone had some Dyno figures to share. It's more of a curiosity.
I'm completely happy with the performance in it's current state but when it comes to rebuild time that's another story lol

To OP: Just keep an eye on your boost gauge. Hopefully you have an after market one. S5's don't suffer as bad from boost creep as the s4's, but you'll still want to monitor it....especially if you no longer have the stock cat.

Every dyno is different. Rb is good because it's quiet. Any other exhaust is going to make similar hp gains, but 60 is pushing it!
The 60 hp claim probably comes from a s4t2 with 14mm wastegate unported. Boost spiking and running lean, that's how you make good power until your engine blows

That's probably because you kept the most restrictive part of the system....the cat.

want to make sure I still pass smog before going to heavy on mods. The car is super quiet as well. How I see it the RB piece is pricey, but worth the money. Altitude might have helped with preventing boost spikes etc. In the future I might go with a single 3'' exhaust to keep it lighter...cat or no cat is the question.
I installed a Bonez "high-flow" cat on mine (original REV .....REV1?). Just swapped out the piece right before the Y-split. I don't need to pass smog anymore, but will be removing the air pump and installing a GM electric air pump. Many people on here remove them entirely, but I don't like the smell....especially when sitting in traffic.
their claims are based off the rising boost pressure from the turbo working more compared to the actual work the exhaust alone is doing. if you go from one exhaust to another and want comparable results then you have to keep the boost pressure the same during the 2 tests, boost creep does not accurately define power gains to be expected because the wastegate and intake leaks on various cars will all give different results.
too many of these mods and you will pop your engine simply due to boost creep, which makes power and not so much the shiny add ons. even a completely stock car can make over 200whp if you add a boost controller and FCD to the mix.

this is about as accurate of an answer as you will get.
