Looking At An RX7

Hey guys, im new here, and i was about to check out my first rx7 to buy. I am coming from the honda world, and i do not know alot about the rotary, yet. My question was, while i am looking at this car tommorow, what are some things i should look for on the car, as in bad stuff? It is a 2nd gen non turbo with 125,000 miles on it. Let me know what i should look for.

How much does he want for it? Aarons guide is THE BEST in my opinion for buying RX7s. I would actually try to buy one with a rebuilt engine, and maybe a new clutch or something. Check out the classifieds on the forum here, I know when I get some more $$$ im gonna buy one from here. Either way good luck and welcome to the forum, and the world of rotarys and RX7s! I came from hondas too and let me tell u its 100 times better! The only thing that RX7s have problems with that hondas dont are speeding tickets...

I will "third" Aaron's article. It gave me some good questions to ask when I bought my FC.

Good luck, and be sure to read the FAQ at the top of this section, as well as browse through the archives. After that, if you don't find your answer... use the search bar, works wonders

Happy 7 Huntin,
Jon

I also found Aaron's writeups VERY informative. I may have chosen a slightly different color format, but you can still cut and paste it to your liking .

Aaron, if you see this, I noticed your name in the registration for the revolution, hope to meet you at the revolution this year.
