Looking for a hardened wheel stud

I want to buy some hardend wheel studs, and I cannot find any in the stock size. The closes thing I have found is the ARP stud that is 2.5" long. The stock stud is 2" long, 12x1.5, 0.509" knurl.

Anyone know where a stock size hardend wheel stud can be sourced?
Thanks,
-a

Why you want hardened but not longer?

I have aftermarket 17x8 wheels with correct offsets (read = no spacers required), and therefore, I feel that the extra length of the stud will stick out too much from the surface of the wheel.

And while I have the front hub assembly apart I wanted to upgrade the studs with a hardend unit.

In addition, I am having a hell of a time finding even stock studs locally. And if I have to order something, I want it to be the best I can get.

These are racing parts that typically require "racing" lug nuts that run straight through (to pass tech inspections).  You have the option to cut them down if you want to.  Else, I would just stick with the stock wheel studs if it's too much trouble.  There's nothing wrong with the stock wheel studs if you're not racing.

Just for future reference...if anyone comes across the same issues:

- No local car store had these in stock, and were unable to order them for me (Pep boys, autozone, advanced auto)

- Napa gave me the wrong ones, these would not fit. And they did not have ones that did fit.

-Victoria British (who for sure I thought would have them!) did not. They only carry studs up thry the '85 Fb.

- My local mazda dealer wanted $5.49 each! I told them to eat a di%#.

- I called Mazdaformance (one of the forums sponsors btw) and they were able to order these for me, at substantially cheaper than the local dealer - $3 each.

In summary...Mazdaformance rules, Local dealers suck!

Yea mazdaformance is awesome **** the dealer! When I had my FC I know the local stores like pep boys and autozone didnt stock many parts at all and wouldnt order them...it sucks that most of the time you have to order online (takes longer and u gotta pay shipping) but at least we dont drive civics !!

hey, i want longer wheel studs... where did you find those extra-long wheel studs?

btw, if you need stock length wheel studs and hardened... get them cryo'd... its cheap. sometimes its like $8/lb of misc items... so maybe $8x4 sets of studs. im guessing 5 studs are about a pound.

but yea, hook me up w/ the place that has extended studs.

Speedsource has some beefy studs, but I believe they are longer.
