looking for a good set of wheels anyone got pics?

Guys,

I have an '87 TII and i'd like to replace the stock wheels. I don't want to pay more than $150.00 each wheel. I'd like to see some pics if you have them.

I like my Konig Villains. They only cost $215 each in 18x8 and 18x9. 16's and 17's are cheaper.

Ace, those wheels and tires look great on your 'vert. What size of tires are you running?

Those tires look alot like my AVS Dbs too... I love the Konig Villians, if only I could afford them. And was that a cruise with Vosko in PA? Cause I have a video of that which looks like the same spot and the same lineup of cars. I'm in PA too, and I'd love to just kick back and bullshit with a few Rx7 guys sometime

Yes, that was from the cruise. Check the NE forum or go to http://www.nopistons.com/cgi-bin/boa...ffff&&&CODE=04 to keep up to date on everything.

be sure to check the weight on anything you buy. rotational mass is a bitch. try to stay lighter than stock.

I don’t know if you want to buy another set of stock wheels. But I am selling my 1989 GTUs wheels. They came on 1989-1991 Trubo II’s and the GTUs’s. They are 16x7 and they weigh 15lbs a pop. Here is a pic of my buddy’s wheels just like mine that I am selling except he powder coated them white, mine are still stock. http://members.home.net/dosborn9/Dscf0001.jpg E-mail (in sig) me if you are interested I am definitely selling them lower than $150 a pop lates

18" Konig Monsoons. Everyone seems to like them, though I think I'd go with something different if I was to pick now.

Hey RotaryRacer, is that with or without rubber? Also, how much did your buddy pay to get them powdercoated?

On the powder coating both my buddy and I did it and they charged us $30 a wheel not to shabby. The wheels I want to sell are still stock. I have two sets

You can have the super Dead A032R's that are on them but you wont get much use out of them sorry. I was going to ship them with out rubber.

Cool

Ace before I rush out and attempt to purchase the same size wheels and tires for my '88 Vert, are there any rubbing &/or clearance issues we should be aware of?

The rears rubbed a little. So I had to roll--bang with a hammer--the rear fenders. That was with 275/35/18. If I had gone 255/35/18 they wouldn't have rubbed.

Here is what I am running:

91 vert has the Enkie RSE's in 16X7

and the Project 86 gets Konig Rated R's (minus sticker)

The Konig's only weighed 14.5-14.6lbs per wheel without tires.
