Just FYI,

Mazdasurplus has NEW factory wheels for $50.00 each. I would have bought a set of polished Turbo wheels but they only have two right now (it says three on their website). The processing fee is $50.00 if your order is less than $2000.00 so it works out to like $63.00 each wheel for brand new factor wheels. Good deal but I wanted something different. There used to be a website with a black TII that had 5 spoke wheels on that looked great but I can't find it now.

Mmmm...meaty. Is your car lowered?
Yes, I have the Suspension Techniques springs. My car is a little lower in the rear than a coupe would be because of the extra weight of the convertible in the back.

Ace, since my '88 Vert isn't lowered do you think I would run into rubbing problems as you did, if I go with the same sizes you have?

Man, I love the look on your Vert. Do you have any other pictures of it posted somewhere?

'Course mine hasn't had the turbo transplant, yet (don't tell my wife)

The fronts should be fine, but the rears would probably still rub over bumps. 255's would work better, even on a lowered car. The 275's help with straight line traction, but they cause a bit of understeer because they're so much wider than the 225's up front. When I re-paint my car I'm probably going to roll the front fenders and switch to 245's up front.

If you need any help finding the rims or have questions about the conversion PM me.

Try these sites and look for my car :
