Looking at this car...
So Im looking at buying a new car. Was planning on a Subaru 2.5 RS, but if I can find a nice FC theyre definitely still an option.
Here are some details on one I was looking at:
" •Mazda 13b fuel injected rebuilt motor w/ a minor bridgeport and polish @ 25,000 mi - (208,000 miles on chassis)
•Rebuilt (high output) alternator
•rebuilt transmission w/ 37,000 mi on it
•new 02 sensor
•new thermo temp sensor
•Custom Dodge Viper electric fan
•Howard-train performance driveshaft
•Racing Beat - Road Race (true) dual exhaust system
•Racing Beat 13b 6-port race version headers
•Apexi intake system conversion cold air w/ border racing head light vent
•Tanabe suspension springs 1.5'' drop f/r
•Kyb front struts
•new oil jet tubing, new water pump, new spark plugs, new battery
•rebuilt fuel injectors by five-o motor sports
•Charge speed front lip (painted) installed just after pictures were taken- a few pics show this item now
This car has been very well taken care of, everything runs 100% and other than a few minor dings and light scratches the exterior body is excellent. The Rx-7 has been garage kept by both owners. It has BRAND NEW brakes; I just replaced them on Monday March 20th. A Kenwood head unit w/ amp and kicker sub. The old stock exhaust which could use new mufflers for inspection purposes, the rear hatch interior cover, and stock passenger side headlight cover, the auto repair manual, workshop manual, and owners manual are included, and all receipts for aftermarket work will be supplied."
I need this to be a reliable daily driver, so I have some concerns. How reliable/long lasting will the "mild" bridgeport be? Also do you think it will be super loud with the road race exhaust?

yes it will be very loud, and anything with a port will not last as long as a stock motor. bridgeports even mild ones will dampen the life of the motor. True Duals + Bridgeport = LOUD
sounds like a great car, but if you want reliability, go with a seven that has more like 50-75k original and that is N/A, they are hard to find, but they are out there
