I just called the guy and he said everything is good except for the driver side door won't open from the outside, however it can be opened from the inside. Also both of the power window don't go down, don't know if they just don't go down or if they don't work at all. He said the engine in the car is not the original one and he said it might have around 88k miles on it. Can anyone let me know how much would it cost to fix the driver door and the power windows? Thanks for the help.

New power windows ? As much as 300$ EACH over here in Greece....dont think this is so in the US, might be a bit cheaper....
Passenger door-lock has a tendency to stick. It could be as simple as spraying some WD40 or good lubricant on the mechanism....
88K on NEW engine ? Better check that compression yourself

Where ya at in VA? Check for smoke in the exhaust. It's gonna be warm today, so you shouldn't see any. Ask about maintence, how often fluids been changed. Check to see how much boost on the guage the turbo is putting out. Ask about any fixes. Do small 360s in a parking lot in forward and reverse, both directions, listen for clunks. Check for vibration on accel/decel. Watch the RPMS, see if there is any hesitation. When done driving, pop the hood and smell for gas. Check for fluid leaks underneath after letting the car cool down by pulling the car over a few newspapers. If you have time, pull off a wheel and check the pads. Has it been inspected? Listen for exhuast leaks...
that's a pretty good start.

Well, the #1 thing I would check is engine compression. See, with rotary's it reall doesn't make alot of difference how many miles are on it(to a point). If the engine was babied to death then carbon builds up and takes out a apex seal. Compression check is the only way to know for sure if your motor is good.
And get ya a phillips screwdriver, pull off the Turbo Inlet Duct and feel for play in the compressor wheel in the turbo, also important. Everything else was pretty much covered. Hope ya get it. I'll be getting mine soon
