looking for advice

im planning to get either a 1986 and latter 7 and i would like to swap a 3rd gen engine and go with the stock twin set up for now but in looking for the single turbo in the future no what im looking to put down ne were from 300-450 hp now on standalone i was thinking about motec but i see hardly no one is using it. so can some one guide me in the right direction? and what would be my best bet for the single turbo?

you're best bet would be to get a turbo2, which can get 400 HP plenty fine.

I would go with megasquirt and spark for standalone if you're a DIY type of guy. The price just can't be beat.

It's do-able, but not as your first, or probably even second project. Plenty of custom fabrication and rotary experience will be necessary. and read RETed's website it his signature, If your into turbo FC's, it will be your bible.
