Well you are asking a very vague question. The exterior is only one thing, and you yourself have not even seen it. I would say based on what i have seen over the last few months around 3-4 give or take. Thats just kind of a general place to start for a T2 and you work your way down or up depending on condition.

Start by asking her what she wants for it. Most people selling anything have a general idea of what they'd take. Then, you negotiate from there, after looking the car over and test driving. Definitely don't offer too much

heh, i think she'll laugh at you, well she will if she knows what she has. most people pay on average 3K for a TII. Needing a rebuilt turbo i would say you could get it for 2 - 2.5K see what she's willing to sell it for and go down from there. i would say don't pay more than 2.5k for it though

A S5 TII in good shape goes from $5000 minimum, so if you get it for even $3000 you did a good job.

that's kinda an overstatement...i think the bluebook vaule is only like 3250 if it's in "good" condition. if anyone is trying to sell you one for 5k they are trying to rip you off...

Well "Blue Book" isn't what cars get sold for. Its what people are willing to pay/sell for. Check out the for sale forum and see.

Yes some have mods, but that generally lowers the value to most people.

Precisely, that's why i'm telling him to not go above the blue book when he buys it. Notice i said "when" i mean it's a TII, go ahead and buy it, just pay what YOU are willing to pay

I'm just stating what they actually go for on here. What they are worth. Worth is the greatest amount you can get for the most part. If you tried to buy a mint S5 TII with 42k for $3000 on here they would laugh at you like you wouldn't believe.
