Nice, but damn that steering wheel looks like it would be in my stomache IF i could fit in there.
The quick release is nice but I need to find an inexpensive slimline one.

ON a side note: My friend just won a Gt35 turbo kit for his mr2 via a drawing on the mr2oc. I need to get on the ball and win some stuff!

Cool.

I was looking into those steering wheels on Ebay.

Did the steering wheel stay in the location or move at all?(towards you or away?)

How about the feel from the quick release? Feel cheap or pretty sturdy?

I concur... I think a steering with with zero offset, rather than a high-offset "rally-style" wheel would have suited it better, unless you've got really long legs, or really short arms...

The wire-like hub part is supposed to be a safety feature though, since sports wheels are stiffer, and you need something to give during an accident, so you can't just leave it out...

They need to make a thinner QD hub, I think.

I'm sure it gives you much better room between your legs and the wheel, though

What's your impression of the quick release.I've noticed a couple of different styles being pedaled on ebay. The one above with a ball bearing setup and the other one is a spline type.I'm a little leary on these as it would not be a good thing if they failed/stripped.Is there any "play" in the setup? cheers

thanks yall..I'm lovin it it feels go great!!!. Ok the quick release I have now is the one that stays up untill you put it back onto the hub....its the 2ed gen NRG ...The one I had before was the 1st gen that didnt stay up and wasnt stiff at all it was all wobbly n ****, this one is stiff. This one was only 100 and all the slimlime ones were going for like 250 and more so i said **** that just go with NRG. Yes I do have long legs but also long arms but the 0 offset work very well....Seats are for sale they are about 4 to 6 months old so 220 pick up...and no the install wasnt that bad we just had to drill the holes in the rail's bigger....SPARCO SPRINTS 220 OBO PICK UP ONLY 270 NEW OR AROUND THERE

I have an NRG one and it's fine. I wish it was as tall but no issues. I actually like the steering wheel being that close to me. No problems with it, been to 2 track events and it's fine.
