Look at this Motor Mount

I got these from Mazdacomp, supposedly they are the competition ones, supposed to be stiffer than stock? I thought they were supposed to screw in somehow...but as you can see, there is nothing threaded there? I've never seen motor mounts before, do these look right?

I can say that it looks alot like the stock mount except that it's missing the threads on each end. Each end of the rod that runs through the mount should be threaded.

LOL yup! I stood there scratching my head for a good 3 minutes. Then I saw a small crack at the bottom of the cap .. and a light bulb went off "ahh, ha" ... ya .. just pull the caps off, they work great

You have to call them ... for some reason they are not listed on the site.

When they dip the mounts, they don't bother to tear the rubber caps of the end. Easier, and offers better protection for the threads during transport.

Ditto.....I asked the same question of the forum when I got my MCOMP mounts last year! The mounts, combined with the upgraded tranny and diff. mounts are awesome. Car feels much more direct and precise with them installed.
