The longest trip I made was from London Ontario to Cleveland Ohio. Just checked the oil before I left, and when I got there. No incidents and the car drove great at 100MPH all the way there.

I just got done putting 500 miles on my TII in order to see my grandparents. All I did was check the oil and tires and I drove off. No problems and I made the 250 Mile one-way trip in 3 hours...ya gotta love boost for those passing situations. I even let my 17 year old bro drive a little while today (he doesn't have the handle on driving a stick smoothly, but when you get on the highway it doesn't matter) and he was in love with the car. I do believe I'm converting the kid to the dark side!

For those of you who drove two to three thousand miles straight, did you change oil during the trip or did you just kept adding motor oil?
I took several round trips from Houston to Harlingen (322 miles, 5 hrs and 15 minutes drive with a stop at Refugo) and then back to Houston last year in hot Texas summer without AC. I was pretty much driving right at the speed limit during most of the trip. For some strange reasons, I was able to get around 29 mpg with my RX every time I took a round trip to Harlingen.

Had some airmiles so I flew back and drove it home. It's not the prettiest (needs paint), but only had 8k on the engine and runs like a champ. Terrific autocross car!

My friend went from Abilene TX to Atlantic City NJ 1,794 miles. he did it in 27hrs of driving. I just did it 25hrs in my WRX. In my 89TII the furthest was Austin to Dallas to Abilene. about 6hrs not bad at all.
