That would be the week last November when I bought the car in Asheville, NC and brought it home to Bellingham, WA. 2952 miles, no cruise control, 3-1/2 days. Drove from Asheville to Nashville the first day and thought my leg was going to fall off. Other than that I had a great drive. Car ran great at 80 nearly all the way.

Hard to believe I didn't have cruise for so many years. The last day was 1100 miles - Rock Springs, WY to Bellingham. That was a new record for me.

This doesn't really count but my TII came form Portland, OR to Florida on a car trailer behind a Penske 15' truck.

I did find the time to take the whole rig thru a carwash a couple times though - had to keep the car shiny for the roadtrip.

in constant fear that my car would blow up any second (due to blown waterseals)i made a 1.5 hr trip from daytona to ocala to go camping at juniper springs(stopping twice to add Ze-Coolant). well i guess passing over 15 cars jammed in slow traffic on the way there while in the wrong lane, blowing by them at about 120 cant be good for my poor TII in the firstplace. but driving down SR40 at 35mph in a straight line for 45min can drive you quite throttle happy if you can find a chance to break outta slow moving traffic

Several trips from Charleston,SC to Columbus, OH. 675ish miles. Best time 9:45. WV turnpike is a fun road. Cruise control made it a lot more enjoyable after I installed it.

Up until last Saturday the furthest I have been from home with my car was about 45 minutes. But I took a trip up to Melbourne on Saturday (about 3 hours away). She does love the highway. When I get her running just the way I like I plan on taking more road trips.

Erik, you drove your TII home from Wisconsin?? What route did you take? I went up in my TII last thanksgiving from Rochester, NY to the very northern tip in Ashland, WI to visit a friend.
Bad thing was about an hour north of Flint we hit bad snow the rest of the way there. All in all it took 19 hours to do 930 miles plus ive got stock worn out suspension which soaked up those wisconsin roads and transplanted the energy into my seat. Wheareas it then bruised every internal organ im pretty sure. Did I also mention I had bald firestone firehawk SVX tires on her?

yeah, check this out...my friend and i drove 15 hours up to wisconsin...bought the car (spent about 30 minutes at the dude's place) then drove 15 hours home! LOL...so it was basically 30 hours of straight driving. on the way back we stopped a few times to try and sleep for about 30 minutes but that was pointless...after a certain point coffee, loud music, vivarin, or sugar can't keep you awake. ughhhh

whats even worse is that 2 hours into the trip home the TPS took a **** and the car basically was **** for the rest of the ride...talk about scaring the **** out of you!!! but i gotta give mad props to my buddy kevin who drove me up there...all in the name of the rx-7...WTF was i thinking

I went from San Diego to Chambersburg, Pa it took 3 1/2 days and if I remember correctly it was a little over 3000 miles. I locked my keys in the car like 5 times I can break in to it in a matter of seconds now with a coat hanger. 3 months before that I went from Chicago to San Diego. It was only like 2 days on the road. The cool thing about it is that I didn't spend a dime either time the Navy paid for it and then some. I would do it again in a second but I would like to have a passenger next time you can only listen to the same 30 cds so many times. Arizona was the best place I went though to test out your top speed I got my 90' GXL up to around 136, and it was sippin on anti-freeze at the time but that is a whole different story.

I went 14 hours from KC to asheville n.c in may of 2001. Having no cats the whole way really gets annoying.

Hey, you guys had your chance! The car was for sale for a month or two. I talked to the owner after I found the car on Autotrader. (I had no idea where the area code was) I told him I wanted to find something closer, but after 3 more weeks he had the car and I hadn't found anything else. Had some airmiles so I flew back and drove it home. It's not the prettiest (needs paint), but only had 8k on the engine and runs like a champ. Terrific autocross car!
