Long staying in garage - need your help!

Hello again. I have 2 questions to you experienced owners.
I didn`t use my car for 2 months and now I can`t start the engine. Firstly my battery failed but after recharging starter works properly. Unfortunately engine didn`t start cause of flooded sparks (I hope this is a reason ). How to fix it? Second question is how to secure the engine and whole car cause I go abroad and my car will spend few months in garage and I hope to use it after this time. I will be grateful for advices!!! Greetings from Poland

If u just flooded the engine, just take the spark plugs out and clean them.

Top all fluids - gas, oil, coolant, brake fluid, clutch fluid
Topping fluids minimizes moisture getting into them by minimize space in the reservoirs.

Get the car off the tires - use jackstands
This prevents flat-spotting your tires.
Stack the tires on the side

Pour some oil into the engine (i.e. spark plug holes) and rotate by hand
This keeps the insides all lubricated and prevents seizing.

Remove the battery and store it outside of the car
The battery is going to be dead anyways, so might as well keep it away from the car.
You'll need to recharge or replace the battery when you return.

Clean everything you can prior to storing it.

On the interior, clean all surfaces and use a product to absorb moisture, like they use in the boating world. ALSO, install some air fresheners.
Here is text copied from boat storage on the moisture absorbing products:

To keep your boat dry and mildew-free you might want to install a dehumidifier or use some of the commercially available odor and moisture absorber products such as "No Damp," "Damp Away" or "Sportsman's Mate."

Last, add mothballs or something to keep mice and squirrels out. You got squirrels there?
They both like to chew on wires.

Question

Reted - thank you for your smart hints..... I poured oil into engine by syringe and to prevent flat-spotting tires car will be moved a little every month.

Capt murph - of course we have squirrels in PL but I keep my car in garage and there is no chance for them to get inside.

Thanks once again....... now I`m wondering if my little ReX come to life for several month..... especially engine......
