Logicon Sillyness with a/c
Mechanic told me that my a/c is running fine, its something with the logicon.
He can manually start the compressor to work. But when the logicon is pushed, the motor speeds up as if the compressor should come on, but its not coming on. If you need anymore info please ask.
How the hell am i supposed to fix this?

Problem with the air condition pump or system, not the logicon or the air temp motor.
If the motor RPM raises when the air is switched on, the Logicon is sending the AC signal so that rules out an issue with the logicon on that.
When you switch the slider from hot to cold, (with the air condition off) does it change temp??? If it does then there is no problem with the air temp motor. If it doesn't then either the air temp motor is blown up or the logicon is bad.
But if the RPM goes up when the air condition is switched on, and the temp setting switchs the temp of the air from hot to cold, there is nothing wrong with the logicon, and you need to go back and check freon level and air conditioning compressor functioning.

Well that rules out the logicon.
You can check the freon and pump by looking in the little eye hole in the top of the condensor (under the hood, the little lens/hole next to the passengers head light.)
If it is fine, when the engine is running and the compressor is on you'll see very small bubbles. If it is out of freon, it won't change at all. If it is low on freon you'll see big bubbles.

You would need to hjave the presure level of the freon checked. If there is insufficent pressure the compressor won't come on.
Is the compressor coming on when you activate the A/C??

Have someone sit in the car and switch the AC ob and off. You should be able to see the clutch on the compressor lock on and off when they switch on and off.
Man didn't your mechanic try any of this???
