pop the molding on the outside of the door and use a thin long ruler to push the lock mechanism down.

Well just about everyone knows to some extent how to break into a car, course the easiest way's still just chucking a rock through your window, so just be glad that this post is here when someone decides to break into your car, less they resort to chucking rocks through your windows.

This works too well. I have also used a Probe key to get in a friends car.

Glass Hammer, like a hammer made of glass or a specialized hammer made to smash glass? Never heard of either.

My dad was a mechanic and he used a slim jim to break into my gxl in like 2 mins, back in the day. It was painfully easy, especially since i have a lot of stereo ****.

come now, its you have to TRY to lock your keys in a seven because of the funky way that the doors lock (coming from the most abesent minded person in the world)

it would seem like a really bad idea to steal a seven because its such a rare car (so easy to get caught with) but not intensly valuable (unless its a 3 gen or has expensive mods)

what i do for almost all cars i breack into for work is use a leave to pru the top of the door frame away from the body then slip a wooden wedge in between the gap, i then use a apropriate piece of wire to unlock the cars lock. shapening the hookl on the end helps it dig into the plastic. used a rag to prevent damage to car.

I keep an extra key in my wallet, because im retarded and frequently lock my keys in my car. Probably not the best place for a spare key as the wallet is more likely to be stolen and then the car as well, but i guess its better than hiding it on the car itself.

try using any old key to unlock it.... alot of the crappy locks on these cars seem to unlock with any old key.... or any other 2nd gen key works on like 95% of all the 2nd gens.

the easiest method was already posted and takes 20 seconds, if someone wants your car they will have it regardless if this thread exists or not and if i find someone trying to take my car they better be prepared to wind up in a pool of their own blood in a gutter somewhere.

AAA around here uses an inflatable bladder like a blood pressure tester to wedge open the door. It's pretty cool to watch.

They make little hammers for breaking glass, but the look like a pen. They are spring loaded and you just put it agasint the window and push. When you push hard enough the spring pushes a little lever you hear a pop, and the window breaks.

Any car with 20 year old locks can worn down enough tumblers to have a similar key be able to unlock it. And be carefull with using a slimjim or a homemade slimjim, you can break parts in the door handle/lock assembly fairly easily.
