little twist on FD alternator---> S5 Q

I read that the electrical is plug and play for the fd----> S5 alternator..is this true..and also are the plugs the same from JDM harness----> American

I know for a fact that the s5 and fd alternators are plug and play but i think that you still have to do a wire switch... make sure to look this up, or it will drain your battery when your car is off, eventually leading to the death of your alternator.... But i think that the JDM and american are the same too

cool thanks..ill have to seach more for the wiring..I though i remember reading a thread on rewiring the plug but havent found it yet
