Little Square Tab = Ground?? Where...
I have this little square tab thing... I suppose it could be a capacitor or something?? it has no leads, just a little square black box and the tab like a grounding wire to be bolted to something.
Where does it go?
I'll take a picture if anyone needs it but I think you guys will know what I'm talking about. =)
Oh, and should I go with my old car's hood? I just thought of it as a joke, I have the black hood in great condition...
But it matches my engine color scheme.... =) I'll have pics of that later.

It is a condensor, there are several through out the car.
Where is this one??
If it is under hood and on the engine area, then it is probably the oil pressure sender condensor and the metal tab mounts on the back of the engine or the clutch slave.

From where I left it, I'm making my best guess that it came from the driver's side engine bay either on the engine block or on the tranny/starter somewhere.
Any idea now?
Is it important that it is mounted in the right place? What lead should it have current to?

If you want to be sure, check to see if there is one on the engine next to the clutch slave.

In trying to find a picture of it I found one with it attached! It was hiding quite well heh.
Glad I took a million pictures.
Here I circled it a bunch, can't see it that well but that's definately it. Looks like it bolts into the back of the oil filter pedistal.
So Icemark, what does this this thing do?
EDIT: It doesn't have any wires to connect to anything... so it's probably not what you were saying... unless it is and they're broken heh, hopefully not.

Yeah, that is the condensor.
Should have a black wire with single pin plug comeing off it. The wire will connect to a Yellow/Red wire single pin plug in that same area.
