i cant fix this problem....when the car is cold it idles like a champ as it warms up it gets crappier idle until the temp guage get about halway up from that point on it will shut off if foot is not on gas
car is driveable and everything works except for this.
also there is like a whistling/wooshing sound of air coming from right behind the air filter wondering if this is normal

If I were you, I would start by pulling your codes. That could be anything ranging from poor TPS adjustment, to a malfunctioning BAC, to a malfunctioning water thermosensor.

how do i pull codes?? there is no bac everything is off because thers no emmision laws here.

how do i adjust the tps?? i cant find the writeup onthis site or fc3s

i wonder what your whistling sound is behind the filter? could it be a leak?

i think maybe it idles fine when its cold because the car idles higher on its own...so its basically holding the gas down for you a slight bit.

 

it couldnt be cold start cause that doesnt stay on until the car is all the way to operatign temp.... or does it?? i dont know ive tried playing with the idle adjust ontop of the upper intake manifold but it didnt effect idle in anyway i could tell

 

Or if the filter is a cone one mounted directly to the AFM, the poster probably hears air rushing around the AFM.

 

yeah it is a cone filter but i dont remember it making this noise before. i tried playing with the idle acording ot haynes manual but it dit absolutely nothing.
