liquid to air intercooler

Anyone ever try a liquid to air inter cooler setup on an FC thats not based on the stock top mount?

Pics?

I have a 13B-rew swapped FC with a Big ebay FMIC, and a standard KOYO radiator can't keep up with the cooling needs above 90 degree weather.

I know I am going to get a million responses of my car has an FMIC and it doesn't overheat etc:

It has been ducted in, the lower splash guard is on, I have the air duct that goes between the bumper and radiator, and its all weather striped up very nice.

My fan has no problem keeping the temp wherever I set too but once its moving fast, it will climb north of 215' until I stop, idling for 5 minutes will bring the temp right back down.

I am thinking of using an ebay or other A2W core, with heat exchangers in the brake duct cooling spots, and possibly a 3rd (I have two for the oil) Stock oil cooler behind the bumper core ducted so that it doesn't steal air from the radiator.

weird man, usually moving faster cools the system down better than any fan would because of all the air moving over the engine.... maybe you've got something clogged up somewhere. But check out a thread on here, search for user tearbo2, and 13-bre. I don't know how to post a link to a thread yet.... kinda still noobish... but he's got a water intercooler setup on his monster FC.... pretty kickass from what I've seen.

What kind of fan? If it's an efan, is it possible you have it running all the time? If so it will heat up on the highway.
