Lingo??

Hey all,
Im a big newb to this forum thing and i just bought my 88' RX7, I dont even have my N yet. The thing is i really want to tune this car out, but as i read the threads here the more confused i get. Everything is abreviated, which is good, cuz im lazy, but i have no idea what anything means. Can someone inform me on some things. Example N/A <--- my guess would be north american. Thanks all.

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/faq-fc-frequently-asked-questions-2nd-generation-rx-7-a-181219/

n/a stands for naturally aspirated (non turbo)

Yeah, like read the FSM (field service manual)

so you get the skinny on how to set your TPS (throttle position sensor)
or how to remove the UIM (upper itake manifold) off your S4 (86-88) FC3S (RX-7 2nd gen)

I really don't see why it is so confusing...

FSM=Factory Service Manual. I suppose if you carry it in you car, and use it, it could be concidered a Field service Manual

what i did when i first started was i opened 2 windows for reading the forums. the first one was the FAQ's with all of the abbreviations, the second was the forum. everytime i saw something i didnt reconize, i go back to the faqs untill i got familiar with it. it helped out alot
