limp mode?

Could be the reman AFM. Could be clogged secondary injectors. Could be a poor injector plug connectors (secondaries). Could be poor main engine ground.

It ran fine for my friend (The previous owner) and he sold it to me when the clutch went out.he cut off the catalytic converter and threw it away(right before the y pipe where the pickup line hooks up).i put a new clutch+bearing and shifter bushings in and put the transmission back in. that is when the problem started occuring.The exaust is still unhooked between the y pipe and where he cut off the cat.

The exhaust pressure is used to activate the port actuators and perhaps this is where your problem lies. This should then be your focus.

waiting on my racing beat road race headers to come in cus they have the pickup line on the headers then im doing straight pipes after the header with mufflers

my plans right now are to wait on my headers to come in the mail,get my exhaust finished,then take apart my intake,clean the throttle body real good,replace gaskets and i have to change a port actuator rod in the front that is snapped off.

Well if you have an actuator port rod which is damaged then of course it would make the engine act funky. The info supplied to you in your other thread, which I just perused, should have given you insight into the problem which you speak of (lack of power through the 4k range).
