Well, heres one way to tell. Jack up the car in the back, put it on a stand, and spin a rear wheel. Have a friend on the other side of the car tell you which way the other wheel spins. If it spins the same way as the one you spun, youve got an LSD. If it spins the opposite direction, youve got an open diff. If it doesnt spin at all, youve got problems :p

IIRC, and I'm sure others will correct me if I'm wrong, but only the GTUs and T2s had LSD in 1990.
