LIM question, coolent passages

LIM question, coolent passages

ok sence i have had my car apart from doing ratnets, i noticed that on the LIM in the side closer to the front of the car, that passage for coolent is blocked, but the one closer to the firewall is not...... and i wanted to know if somone did this? or if thats just how it should be?

that's because it feeds coolant to the turbo

The stock water cooled turbo used coolant to keep temps in check.
The LIM is machined with only one hole.
Mazda only builds one type of rotor housing.
Since the rotor housings come with those blasted holes on both the front and the back, one of them isn't being used.
Thus, you're left with one hole being "blocked" by design.
