Lights don't pop up

My lights have always worked wonderfully but after making my cold air box and with rerouting wires they do not open anymore. The actual lights still light up but they don't retract open. I checked the fuse but I'm not sure what else to check for????

Thanks

I think that's a clue...

Get the wiring diagram and check all the wiring you touched.

I didn't disconnect any of them though. I just moved them really. They're still all there in the box. Maybe someone knows which wire I could check with a voltometer for power?

there is a white plug that is oval. It is under the headlight and you might have to raise the headlights by hand with the ***** underneath the car. Those plugs goto the motor that pushes and pulls your headlights down.
Hope that helps

You have no power? well it could be in the switch.
once in a while my lights go off but stay up.
It is a cold solder joint that makes the connection in the switch.
Just keep messing with the switch maybe that is all it is.
dont forget to check the switch on the dash that raises the lights without turning them on.
good luck

Hard to follow that. Looks like it goes to the switch and then to the battery.

Thanks though

i have the same problem ever since i had my FMIC put in. i replaced the switch, but still nothing.

i checked the plug to the switch and found no supply power for the popups. if ya apply power to the switch it works. and there is power at fuse in engine bay. so somewhere inbetween. when ya work it out let me know.may be relay

ps. ya did check the fuse in engine bay?

BIG WANKLER......check the second jpg I posted. It was supposed to be before the one that got posted first. I agree the first jpg makes little or no sense unless you look at the second one first. So, who's on third?
