Question Light-weight Flywheel

I'm looking to buy a lightened flywheel for my S5 NA in about a month or so. Can anybody point me in a direction where to get one and what brand?

Also, what counter weight I have to use? Auto? Does the weight of the flywheel determine the counter weight?

The Counterweight to be added should Match the Series of car..Example S5= s5 counterweight,..S4=s4 counterweight..Mazdatrix,ACT,Racing Beat,Fidanza..they are a few companies that offer Light flywheels for the Rx7..Be sure you order the right application..NA is Different than Turbo.

Ive always used Spec flywheels. Good price, great quality and replacable friction plates. This time though I bought an ACT Streetlite cause of its price. Only $250 on corksport, though the friction plate isnt replacable, so after it wears out you throw it away. But seeing as you can ussualy get 1-2 resufacing jobs out of it, they should last upwards of 5+ years...

EDIT: the Competition ones meet and exceed SFI1.5

specclutch.com I live within 20 miles of their office, so I get mine made while I wait with no tax or shipping since I do business with them quite often

I just got my ACT StreetLite yesterday. very pleased with initial quality and look of it. I still have to wait on my clutch and some other parts to come in, but I should have it on within a month or so

The counterweight should match the series of the motor.

There's lots of swaps going on around here :P

fidanza has a 8 lbs flywheel and the pressure plate can be replaced very easily and cheap... well cheaper than others. i think for the whole thing its about 400 bucks but worth it.
