No more posts about anything to do with the girl. It is very pathetic that I have had to clean this thread up. Any more, and the thread is gone.
Anyways, it rained here today like crazy and it did'nt leak.
I will find out tomorrow how much it's going to cost me to buy the lexan for (20 roof's )
I'll try to keep the price as low as possible, so that everyone could afford one. I know all you FC guy's have that problem with the rust .
I'll update tomorrow.

I find it pathetic you need to edit the thread for those reasons. Wasn't out of hand, wasn't offensive, wasn't the only thing posted. Not like we're going to build a shrine dedicated to pink-shirt-girl on Geocities.
*shrug* I guess. Ball's in your court.

I would be interested in this... depending on cost of course... cause I am a cheap *** STUDENT
as for the cleaning up of thread I don't see how the comments of the pink shirt girl was at all needed or had any rellevance to the thread or the 2nd Generation section! I think that the MOD's had every right to "clean it up"

If you would like a forum's content to look like a dry mechanical engineering text book, then that's fine.
But some of us enjoy the human aspect of conversation. Witty, quick, funny, scornful, and tasteless side comments alike.
So my previous post lacked tact, I apologise. I just found where the line between relative vs unrelated content lies..
And on another note since my post went away, I did want one too, haha.

i dont think its domed, looks like a flat piece of lexan to me....
btw, you might want to try to get your lexan price through a sign company if you know of any. i work for one and theres a considerable discount to be had if you buy it for *resale* through their distributor.

The company we spoke to says they guarantee the roof won't fade or turn yellow for at "least" 8 years. They also said the material is practicly unbreakable
We also found a new seal for the roof, that is 10 times better than the one we used on our prototype.
Correct, But it does bend. It will be made so that when you install it, it will take the shape of the stock roof. And seal perfect.
We are in the process of building our final product. I will post pictures as soon at it is complete, and it passes our test's.
As far as price we are looking at $180 shipped any where in the US.

Also, if you're worried about it getting scratches, I suggest either laminating it with either 3M clear car bra stuff, or buying a real microfiber cloth along with a scratch remover (Plexus to shine it up, Novus 1, or 2 to get the scratches out).

I'm interested.
I aplogise if I missed the answer to my questions, I assumed that it uses the stock mounting locations and hardware?
Will it come with a weather strip?
Is is moulded to match the curves of the stock roof and or the Glass tops that were made for these cars?
Is there any internal trim pieces?
Thanks!
