letting the car sit for a long time?

i just bought an 86 n/a and it's not running, and in my situation right now, it'll be sitting for the next 2-3 months, is there anything i should do because it'll be sitting so long? mainly concerned about the fluids sitting in there for so long.

do a search on "long term storage" for some good ideas. I remember deflating the tires slightly or driving them up on boards, change your oil, disconnect battery, moth ***** in the interior and some gas additive neutralizer (somehting like that) just to mention a few.

Consider stuffing the exhaust pipes/air intake to keep critters from nesting.

most rotaries that have problems with long time storage are already running...never heard anyone concerned about one thats already not running...you have already experienced the biggest drawbacks of storing a rotary...yours is not running...just try to keep it at a calm climate to preserve whats left of it...spray alot of wd-40 on the wiring if you are in extreme climate..to keep the water from corroding?..and...keep the door handles operational..they tend to get weak in low usage storage..and are expensive to replace
